Becoming an Actor
Designed and led by a professional English theatre director, this premium six-module programme develops the essential skills every actor needs to perform with confidence, prepare for theatre auditions, and build truthful, compelling performances.
Every session is highly practical, and you’ll spend the majority of your time acting, exploring, rehearsing, and receiving professional direction in a supportive, inspiring environment.
Certificate awarded. 3x 90-minute sessions
Monologue & Scene
Take the next step in your acting journey. Work on a monologue, develop a scene with a fellow actor, and bring characters to life under the direction of a professional English theatre director.
Expect intensive practical work, creative exploration, constructive feedback, and the discipline required to grow as an actor. Make bold choices, ask questions, challenge your assumptions, and discover what you’re truly capable of on stage.
Optional extra: Take your performance in front of the camera and create filmed material for your acting showreel.
Taste Theatre Company
From actor training to the professional stage – this is where your training becomes real.
Become a member of Taste Theatre Company and work alongside fellow actors to create an original production written specifically for your company. Under the weekly guidance of a professional theatre director, you’ll rehearse, develop your characters, and bring the show to life.
But acting is only part of the journey. You’ll also take responsibility for publicity, marketing, props, set, bookings, and everything else required to put on a theatre production.
You won’t just perform in a play. You’ll help create the entire production.
The journey culminates in a public performance, giving you practical experience of the demands, discipline, collaboration, and excitement of bringing theatre to an audience.
Train together. Create together. Take the stage together.
Welcome to Taste Theatre Company.
